How it works

For a business

Simply subscribe to the CSR Register for just £175 plus VAT. There are heaps of benefits but in short this helps us fund all interactions with charities – not just searching for great projects but also helping them to self-discover all the things they could be doing now. It’s a big job dealing with over 10,000 charities and your subscription helps make it happen.

Once registered we’ll send you a unique Registration Number which should be used in all correspondence by anyone you nominate to submit searches. Note your subscription has to be fully paid up before you can submit a search.

Once Registered/subscribed, those employees nominated by your company can submit requirements for each proposed project online or by email to the CSR Register. Simply state all the criteria which your project requires – the online form will guide you through some useful questions to help you get the most from your search. Help is also available on the phone from the CSR team who are on hand to answer your queries and help you develop the right search.

Selection criteria available include these examples:

  • Location (e.g. choose by postcode or region)
  • Estimated size of group (e.g. 2, 10, 200)
  • Timescale (e.g. when it needs doing, or from date)
  • Project duration (e.g. 0.5 days, 1 day, 1 week, weekends)
  • The Charity type or cause related to the project (what do they do, who do they support, who is being helped)
  • Project type preferred (e.g. communications, education, working party, team build, construction, outdoors)
  • Your application: (e.g. team build, training, development)

Once a shortlist has been identified and you have selected your favourite project you can download a complete specification with details of the Charity or community group, the project location, scope, expectations of the cause concerned and full contact details so you can get your planning in place and your teams to work.

For a Charity

We want you to submit as many projects, challenges and tasks as you need. Wherever you are in the UK, no matter how big or small you’re thinking we’ll try and put you in touch will people and businesses who can make it happen.

It’s completely FREE – so submit as many as you want.

Give us as much information as you can on the form (which is available online).

We can’t answer project queries if we have no record of you or your project.

What is the CSR Register?

The CSR Register is a company set up as a brokerage offering pr, marketing and event agencies, training and development firms and public and private businesses of every size access to pre-qualified and readily available, ‘live’ community engagement projects and current worthwhile activities at over 10,000 active charities and community groups.
 
Charities load their projects and needs into an online Project Bank free of charge. Companies who register can email or call the CSR Register hotline, where will take their brief and establish their time, budget and ‘good cause’ criteria – before returning a list of Projects to the company.

The company can do their project or campaign of awareness as a group of people of employees, their supply chain, dealer and distribution network and even customer groups. Often the projects undertaken are used at company/corporate events, during training and personal development programmes, as employee engagement contributions as a worthwhile use of time and resources as icebreakers, team-building exercises, pr and marketing campaigns, rewards, employee and community goodwill and more.
 
The CSR Register will offer extended services to companies helping advise them on
and choose the best projects for them and helping them to liaise with and communicate with the charities and community groups.

It’s a win-win for business and good causes. The CSR Register makes it happen.
